I wanted to assure you that I, personally, do not subscribe to the notion that the "Jews" are responsible for the death of Christ. On the contrary, it absolutely was the temple hot-shots who were infuriated by His rather blunt condemnation of their arrogance and power-hungry twisting of the Holy Scriptures to their own advantage. Actually, the "Jews" gave Jesus a rousing welcome into Jerusalem, crying, "hosanna" and laying their garments on the road for Him to ride upon. Unfortunately, they misunderstood that it was not time for His kingdom to be established. He had to be the suffering savior before He could reign as King of Kings, as He most certainly will one wonderful day. No, Paul makes it clear in the New Testament that we Christians are "grafted onto the Jewish vine" so to speak. As a result, I proudly consider myself to be an honorary Jew, one of God's chosen people and actually wear a necklace with a gold cross AND a Star of David.
